Bettors and modellers
Form, course history and head-to-heads in one call each
PGA Tour rounds since 2001 measured against their fields, a player's record at every course, and two players' meetings, ready for outright and matchup models.
Golf models live on strokes versus the field, course fit and recent form, and each of those is a scrape of somebody's leaderboards.
Raw scores mean little until each round is set against the field that played the same course that day.
What to build
Recent form
A player's last tournaments with every round's strokes versus the field, raw and adjusted for field strength.
Course fit
A player's every start at an event, or every round on a course across tournaments, with a summary.
Matchups
Two players in every tournament they both played: who finished ahead and how they compared round by round.
What it will not do
- No odds: ESPN publishes no golf prices, so bring your own lines.
- No strokes gained by category (off the tee, approach, putting): the source has no shot-level data.
